Updates _update_version_in_file to detect an existing CalVer
pattern within the line following the sentinel and replace only
that version string, rather than replacing the entire line.
This ensures badge markdown in README.md such
as [![Version](...version-2026.04.14.1-blue)](...) is updated
in place rather than being replaced with just the plain
version string.
